HMS Oar­da­cious

HMS Oar­da­cious is a part­ner­ship with the Roy­al Navy and Roy­al Marines Char­i­ty that inspires young peo­ple through ocean row­ing chal­lenges and STEM edu­ca­tion. Its mis­sion is to show what can be achieved through endurance and col­lab­o­ra­tion, while rais­ing aware­ness of men­tal health, lead­er­ship, and per­son­al development.

Each year, a new team takes on an ocean row­ing expe­di­tion, demon­strat­ing deter­mi­na­tion and resilience while high­light­ing the impor­tance of men­tal and phys­i­cal well­be­ing. HMS Oar­da­cious also runs STEM pro­grammes in part­ner­ship with organ­i­sa­tions like NSSL Glob­al and Reach the World, encour­ag­ing young peo­ple to explore careers in sci­ence, tech­nol­o­gy, engi­neer­ing, and maths.

Through events and fundrais­ing ini­tia­tives, HMS Oar­da­cious sup­ports sub­mariners and their fam­i­lies, cre­at­ing last­ing impact on young peo­ple, com­mu­ni­ties, and those who serve.
