Gered Gereed­schap

Gered Gereed­schap (Dutch for ​“saved tools”) is an orga­ni­za­tion that helps men and women in devel­op­ing coun­tries have access to the right tools they need for their trade — whether that be a phys­i­cal tool like a ham­mer or a sewing machine or voca­tion­al edu­ca­tion to learn a trade or start a busi­ness. Their aim is to fight pover­ty by pass­ing on knowl­edge, skills and resources in order to giv­en crafts­peo­ple an inde­pen­dent life. Their approach focus­es on edu­ca­tion, employ­ment and entrepreneurship.
