Ark

Ark (Absolute Return for Kids) is an inter­na­tion­al char­i­ty, trans­form­ing lives through edu­ca­tion. Ark exists to give every young per­son, regard­less of their back­ground, a great edu­ca­tion and real choic­es in life. In the UK, they oper­ate a net­work of 37 schools in Eng­land, edu­cat­ing more than 27,000 pupils. The Ark Schools are non-selec­tive and in areas of high eco­nom­ic and edu­ca­tion need all have the same under­ly­ing prin­ci­ple – that every young per­son can access uni­ver­si­ty or careers of their choice. Ark also incu­bates, launch­es and scales ini­tia­tives and projects that address some of the most intractable issues in edu­ca­tion and society.
